Here is the latest pet portrait on my design wall. He is a lab, made of varying shades of gray and you’d be right if you thought he looks a lot like the brown lab in the gallery. They’re made from the same photo.

Now it’s time to select just the right background for him. I auditioned many fabrics but this striped background just seems to suit his style. I’ve decided to include an internal border about 2” in from the edges to break up the stripy-ness of the background. What do you think?
